Tasty and quite fun to do but the end result is little on the dry side. Some suggestions, drain all of the beer and replace with half can of water. I don’t think the beer adds much flavour. Marinade your chicken for longer; possibly slash legs for better flavour penetration. The cooking juices are quite oily but tasty. Maybe try making into a gravy. I’m sure it will be nice cold as well. 🙏

This was absolutely delicious. We had this after seeing your This Morning clip. The whole family loved it. Will be making again this week, with your rainbow crunchy salad (again 🤣) xxx

We cook beer can chicken all the time, this is a must try. FWIW - pour half the beer intothe dish and the impale the chicken, add the rub at this point - eay peasy.
