Had to try and make my own Chaat masala. Was missing black salt, kasmiri chilli & pomegranate powder, ( both now on order). I panicked with the amount of flower and only added 250g. Nect time I will add all the above and hotter chillies.

Morning Nisha, do you have any Indian themed salad suggestions? We eat loads of salad at this time of year, yesterday we did your sticky thighs and had it with a conventional British salad, I just wondered if you ideas/recipes for an Indian twist. Cheers.

Hi Nisha this looks a great recipe that we will be trying this week. One quick question is Chaat masala used in making Chicken Chat or is that entirely different? Thanks Ally xx

I live in Turkey and had to mix my own chaat masala. I cant get black salt, (my friend is bringing me some) and i now have pomegranate powder on order. It was still delicious with without.

I don't understand the recipe. Raita, for example, us mentioned several times. Is it a typo? Also, I don't have chaat masala but all the ingredients for it. I don't have black salt but have smoked salt. Would that work?

The raita- ignore - thats if you wanted to make raita on the side. Now then the chat masala im afraid is important. Smoked salt will give it an entirely different flavour.
