Wow! Worked just as described. I’m not too bad at cooking rice, but the washing and watching was a bore. This makes it so easy that you can finish off the curry, lay the table and clean up while the rice is cooking away on its own. Incredible

I used your Rice formula for last nights dinner , I adapted the flavour using cardamom, turmeric , mustard seeds grated garlic ,ginger and a sprinkling of coriander.. The rice was perfect and went well with the chicken Curry .. fool proof method Nisha . Thank you .

I took it off at this stage and let it stand, covered for 15min. The rice was quite clumpy afterwards. Sticking together.

Hi, will this work with Basmati and wild rice? I find wild rice takes that little bit longer

wild rice takes too long- boil separately and strain and stir through about 5 min into the boiling of the white rice

I note that in the ingredients you say basmati rice, washed. But in the video you say you never wash the rice! Should I wash it or not? 🙂
