I must do you a video but it is the same as white but a much lower heat to get to the panic point- and perhaps add 1/4 extra cup of water

It was just as you said, no need to wash the rice, my wife thought it was nice enough to eat on its own

I should add, I did add fried onion, cumin seeds and turmeric to it and some peas at the end

Wow! Worked just as described. Iโm not too bad at cooking rice, but the washing and watching was a bore. This makes it so easy that you can finish off the curry, lay the table and clean up while the rice is cooking away on its own. Incredible

I used your Rice formula for last nights dinner , I adapted the flavour using cardamom, turmeric , mustard seeds grated garlic ,ginger and a sprinkling of coriander.. The rice was perfect and went well with the chicken Curry .. fool proof method Nisha . Thank you .

I took it off at this stage and let it stand, covered for 15min. The rice was quite clumpy afterwards. Sticking together.

Well, the kids disagree with me and absolutely loved it. Theyโve told me I have to make it like this in future. ๐

Hi, will this work with Basmati and wild rice? I find wild rice takes that little bit longer

wild rice takes too long- boil separately and strain and stir through about 5 min into the boiling of the white rice

I note that in the ingredients you say basmati rice, washed. But in the video you say you never wash the rice! Should I wash it or not? ๐
