Step 1
Add 5 tablespoons of neutral oil to a pan. Add four green cardamom pods, one cinnamon stick, one bayleaf, and 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds and fry until the cumin seeds have turned a nutty brown. This is really important.

Another very tasty meal. Just added dried Kashmiri Chilies at the start and a little Black Salt. We cheated with Bhaji, Pakora & the Samosa (Costco), but made the Green Chutney myself. The Chutney was good, but not as good as I remember a friend from Jodhpur had made us at his home in Singapore. If you could add this to your recipe app please :-)

Cooked this at the weekend - the ‘panic’ rice trick worked very well. I like my food quite spicy, and felt this needed a bit more heat for my taste, but good nonetheless.

Made it this evening for tea. Left on naughty step for 25mins. Probably need another 5. For a first effort I'd give myself 7/10.
