Added a few curry leaves to the recipe as I couldn’t get the methi leaves. It was gorgeous, went down a storm! . Definitely one to make again.

I made this today with Beef, In the InstantPot it was lovely! Hubby has said we could get away with a little more heat though. Curious to know what part of the recipe should I increase? I used 900g of beef but followed the recipe for the Chicken Balti, probably should have doubled up but we'd of had far too much sauce. Can't wait to try anotger recipe on the list!

Hello Nisha! Not gonna blow smoke but I am obsessed. My sister had a 1st gen Indian bf years ago and leant the basics then, but have followed you to broaden my repertoire. A home cooked curry is best. And healthy. Two questions. I sometimes fuse things and would like your advice between using green and black cardamom. Also. I also love a coronation chicken. It's great for office lunches and 'meak prepping'. Have looked at your recipes which were done on this morning but they're without videos. Could you do a tutorial video? Just because I love watching you talk about it. If nothing else!!!! Thank you x

Ha! OK.... sooo now black cardamom - use to cook white basmati rice as per my pilau videos for a smoky robust depth. Green you add to give top note perfume- i dont like green at all!! but it is good lost in a meat curry or a token one or two in a big pan of fried rice.

Yesterday I tried chicken Balti and this recipe is easy, tasty and just very good. Today I made the spinach pilau rice to this leftover chicken Balti. Both are very easy and delicious. Thank you

Made some small adjustments. Fried the pepper with an additional small onion quartered separately which was added at the end along with tomato’s quartered, to cook the tomatoes out but not lose their integrity.

Will definitely give this a try. Does it matter if it’s just tinned chopped tomatoes rather than tinned cherry ones?
